The gullibility of bigots like Mike Bara and Robert Morningstar

Both Mike Bara and Robert Morningstar have today enthusiastically promoted a phony report that Andreas Lubitz, co-pilot of Germanwings 9525, was a convert to Islam. I'm not even going to put in a link to the report, but I'll just say that its provenance instantly labels it as provocative rubbish.

Bara's comment, on Twitter, was:
"And now we have proof of what we all knew 3 days ago"
If that isn't a confession to bigotry, I can't imagine what is. Robert AM* merely shared to Facebook without comment, and I'm glad to say at least a couple of his fans didn't buy it.

Here's my message to both these logic-challenged people: The flight was scheduled to last 90 minutes. At the time of the crash, only 40 minutes had elapsed. If Lubitz is supposed to have planned a jihad-style mass murder, how in the name of all that's scientific could he have predicted when and if his colleague was going to need a piss?

I will just add this link.

Update: After Mike Bara's brief commentary, brother Dave got in on the act, with his trademark belligerent intolerance.

Indeed, a lot of unintended claptrap fueling the social engineering scam obnoxiously trying to create a new worldwide enemy...in this case islam. But that does not alter the fact that there are some weird mysteries concerning this flight and its demise....

- missing memory cards[s]
"yep..very very likely"
- fbi agents all over the place in situ
"what the hell are they doing in europe? Planting evidence like they did in the Lockerbie case?"
-zooming in on the alleged killer pilot
"as in obvious overkill in european media"
-it looks like the plane and all its components went through a giant shredder

just a few point...

Hello Adrian,

The plane crashed at cruising speed on a mountain ridge. All people I've heard who are active in the industry, pilots, engineers.... nobody doubts what would happen to such plane and every part of it, including the black boxes. And there are similar cases with similar damages, just look them up!

You got nothing there. The only mystery here is the human mind and how disturbed it can be, which is in itself rather disturbing if true!

And overkill in the media? These days everything has that, I'm afraid. But it's rather a big event, wouldn't you agree?

As for the FBI, if one would really have read all that "overkill" in the media, then it's clear the FBI was quickly asked by the investigation panel to help researching any terrorist or sabotage angle.

And it was probably wise they did because if it was terrorist related, time would have been of the essence since it might have been a first of more to come or the perpetrators might be on the run. Sadly enough the US has the most expertise available and their advices, tips and hints might in that case have proven invaluable.

In other words, they were way ahead of you in terms of "asking questions" and pondering mysteries! :-)

The argument presented by big fat Dave is so typical of the Bara boys. Ad hominem attacks and subsequent banning of any dissenters.

Dave seems to be hinting that he suffered depression at some point in his life. If that is the case then perhaps mentioning it and tempering the conversation with some give and take would have been a better approach.

Using "Baraese" language. Right now Dave just comes across as a big fat slug bastard whose entire love life has and always will be centred around his favourite hand. Sad cunt.

The bizarre thing is how Dumber Bara could say that "depressed people don't murder innocents". How so? It's often done through serious form of dissociation but those states can have so many causes. Long term medication might be one of them.

From what I heard Lubitz was suffering as well from anxiety and panic attacks and stress induced burn-outs. While depressive episodes appear to have been one of the symptoms, the mentioned anxiety attacks are cleverly left out by Dumber Bara.

On how many levels can a person be wrong and proudly posts about it?

Dumb Mike "Cartman" Bara and Dave Dumber Bara. Love it.

And yes indeed Dee. Dave using selected information that could possibly be used to support his ideas and ignoring what doesn't. Exactly the same as Cartman Dumb does when linking to obscure papers which he shoehorns into his crazy books.

I am genuinely interested to see if Mikey boy uses Sitchins "work" in his latest book. Especially after revealing that he found out that Sitchin channeled his books directly from ET.

...so you agree then that the media is the determining factor for the truth...?

@Dee

Let me make a very simple prediction, just for the fun of it despite the horror of innocent people being killed; there will be no new system requirements and/or enhancements concerning flight data recorders in order to prevent memory cards from disappearing. You may conclude from that what you will :-)

I don't know this memory card story. Sfar as I know the CVR worked fine and the FDR hasn't been found. Got a link?

The FDR was found but appeared to be damaged during the impact and a memory module is still missing. Now this could have been done by a special black helicopter recovery team or they just will have to find this module amidst the five million other tiny parts laying around. Then again, how would we know the memory module would not have been exchanged in the mean time? Not sure if anything on it would be encrypted and signed electronically.

The damaged unit itself does not seem that mysterious to me. Although located in the tail section to minimize and absorb "normal" impact damage, it might be possible to show at some point, after further analysis, that the plane was slamming into the rocks in such a way that the tail section was impacted just as much or even more so than the rest. Keep in mind, most crashes would be the result of a break-up midair with tail section often still partly surviving or an attempted emergency landing with a more specific slope. Nose down crashes will also keep the tail a bit out of the first impact. This crash however was a slamming into hard rock, without knowing the exact trajectory or first impact areas. Speed of the crashing plane (480 mph?) would be way higher than just free fall with terminal velocity from 3000 feet although I'm not going to do the math. Might depend on how intact a freely falling tail section would be as well.

your pal hoagie was on coast a few days ago - it wasn't as bad as i thought it would be, i even managed to make it most of the way through the interview (right up to the bit where he said china's moon robot was landed at 44 degrees as a message to the 44th president that if he doesn't disclose what was really found on the moon by the apollo mission then the chinese will!)

I heard most of that show. So much was just a repeat of what I've commented on before that I decided not to review it here. I did enjoy the Youtube comments.

*listening to that show a bit*

So Hoagland is trying to merge his elevation of the Brookings advisory report with his elevation of the admitted hoaxed "Report from Iron Mountain" by Leonard C. Lewin to being actual secret policy? Consider me updated!

At least he doesn't introduce new fictional versions of Brookings like AM* attempted although he seems to make a big deal out of finding that report in archives at the time (where it should be expected to live being a minor policy advice).

Anyway, what is somewhat interesting is the mentioning of Brandenburg's presentation at recent the Lunar and Planetary 46th conference.

Here's some info I found on their website:

Tuesday Evening, March 17, 6:00 p.m.
Poster session T624 Geochemistry and Petrology of Martian Meteorites

Brandenburg J. E.
POSTER LOCATION #263
Evidence for Large, Anomalous Nuclear Explosions, on Mars in the
Past [#2660]

It was hypothesized that large natural nuclear reactors ran on Mars but the xenon isotopic spectrum and lack of craters shows the explosions are anomalous

Anyone any comment or update on that?

Yes, as you say it was not a paper but a poster session. One that he was >2h late setting up, according to Stuart Robbins who also had a poster.

Ah splendid! Google didn't turn that up for me yesterday although I only briefly checked. Never would I have dreamed to be able to read such a detailed and even illustrated account of the event!

I hope Stuart doesn't get in trouble (like annoying exchanges) for the "drunk affect" claim. Perhaps John will join the comments as he did on "PZ" Myers' The two faces of JE Brandenburg last year, responding to some serious criticisms.

It looks as though that whole flapdoodle about missing memory cards was a canard. The FDR was recovered yesterday, and its data firmly supports the mass murder hypothesis.

Dee said...

Yes it seems the older news was about some of the casing, with the bright orange paint. The actual FDR and its main memory components were apparently not attached anymore. Hard to find an exact description right now though.
